Austin philanthropist and music manager Robin Shivers has died.
Shivers helped create the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, and also served on the alliance's board of directors.
HAAM's executive director called her life "a testament to
giving back."
In her professional life, she ran R.R.S. Management and represented Troy Campbell as well as the band Loose Diamonds.
Shivers also served as a consultant for KLRU-TV and also worked on the Austin City Limits music series.
Shivers was also a donor to the campaigns of Senators John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchison.
''She was an exceptional woman who made the city of Austin a brighter and richer place through her generosity and passionate involvement in countless worthy causes,'' said Hutchison.
Her family has not said how she died.
Robin Shivers was 53-years-old.
