For the players on the field and the fans in the stands, the memories of the Friday night excitement lasts a lifetime thanks to the hard work of the yearbook photographer.
Whether it's a big play, the band's latest number, or just the students in the bleachers, Wimberley High School's yearbook photographer, Kate Staley, is there to capture it.
"I love that I can capture something in time and have it forever on my camera," she said.
The photographers anticipate bigger nights of the year.

"Tonight is probably the biggest night for both newspaper and yearbook because it's homecoming," yearbook and newspaper advisor, Gary Zupancic, said.
That's was no pressure the junior shooter couldn't handle.
"The first football game I took pictures of I was just shaking like a leaf. I was really nervous, I was just praying that my photos would come out good," Staley said.
When her shots came out, she was hooked.
"I've always been really interested in photography," she said.
So while the Wimberley Texans play, she's on the field, in the stands or wherever she needs to be to get the perfect shot.
"It's such a good feeling. I get this huge smile on my face when I take a good shot," Staley said.
She takes pride in knowing, for years to come, students will remember nights like this by looking at her pictures in their yearbook.
