Day two of SXSW brought one of the more notable short films of the festival to Dobie Theater Saturday where actor and director Josh Brolin showcased his short film, "X".
And when it comes to the reviews, "X" certainly marks the spot.

 Actor and director Josh Brolin took some time to speak with News 8's Victor Diaz.

Brolin, of "No Country for Old Men" and "American Gangster" is coming off the heels of two successful performances as an actor, but he is attending the SXSW film conference because he's making his directorial debut with the short film "X."
"It worked out well and I'm so proud to be here," Brolin said.
Brolin said he just wrapped up another project with Sean Penn and has other projects in the works.
