Many residents are being urged to evacuate to prepare for additional rains Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

The city of Marble Falls is reporting that 100 to 125 structures were damaged from flooding, and Mayor Raymond Whitman said the weather was "the worst I've ever seen."
The quality of the water is a growing concern, as bacteria is stirred up by heavy rains. Emergency workers warn anyone with a cut or scratch that has been exposed to flood waters should receive at tetanus vaccine within the next 72 hours.
Workers are also concerned about rabies, and advise people to avoid contact with any unknown animals.

Unnecessary travel is discouraged as multiple roads and bridges are washed out. Police officers are making door-to-door sweeps to help evacuate any areas.
