Pfc. Kevin James Ellenburg, 20, of Middleburg, Fla., stationed at Fort Hood, was killed in Baghdad on Nov. 1.
Ellenburg was killed when an improvised explosive device blew up near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
Ellenburg entered the Army in September 2005 and was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division since December 2005. He left for Iraq in January 2006.
Ellenburg’s military awards and decorations include the Army Good Conduct Medal and the Basic Marksmanship Qualification Badge – Expert M-16.
