Central Texas got a taste of severe weather Wednesday evening, as dark clouds gave way to baseball-size hail in some areas.
Northwest Austin saw the worst of the storm. Residents in Cedar Park reported seeing anywhere from marble- to baseball-sized hail.
"This is only the second time I've seen this much hail in Austin in 37 years that I've lived here," Northwest Austin resident Bob Bradley said.

Carol Shave took pictures through the windows of her home as the hail rained down.
"It started, a little bit, and out of the blue it was just raining ice everywhere and then stopped, all of a sudden," she said.
But the hail wasn't just something pretty to look at in the lawn, it also caused a lot of damage.
Hailing from Minnesota, Kevin Ludin witnessed the ice attack while sitting in a nearby restaurant. The hail did a number on his car while he sat helpless.
"This has never happened to my car in Minnesota, first time for everything," he said.
Some vehicles parked outside Lakeline Mall suffered damage as a result of the storm.
Near Lake Travis, Paolo Busatta's house and car were both damaged during Wednesday's storm. After it was over Busatta scooped up a bag full of hail for a keep sake.
"It's a metal roof. We were sitting upstairs," Busatta said. "We kept feeling like it was coming to come through the skylight and hit us any minute. It was a rumble and scary."
No major damage was reported immediately to the police.
