Newcomers T-Bird & the Breaks are old souls bringing serious R&B flare to the local music scene. The group is a local 11-piece with a penchant for pounding out originals.
Austin's T-Bird & the Breaks are newcomers with old soul sound and a rough retro edge. They are one of the big stories of 2008 and 2009. Listening to dynamic vocalist Tim Crane croon with blaring saxophones is undeniably packed with grooves and funk.
In part of a preview series for South by Southwest, T-Bird & the Breaks performed "Blueberry Brandy" on the News 8 rooftop.
