Many Central Texas organizations and businesses are celebrating the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama. Whether it's a gala, watch party or general celebration, many groups are anxiously awaiting the historical event to take place Tuesday, Jan. 20.

From 10 a.m. – (approximately) 12:30 p.m. watch as President-elect Barack Obama takes the Oath of Office and speaks to the nation in his inaugural address. Watch several musical selections from choirs, famous musicians and bands.
From approximately 1 p.m. until its conclusion, News 8 will have live glimpses of the Inaugural Parade from Washington, D.C.
At 9 and 10 p.m. News 8 will share live coverage of local inauguration parties.
At 10:15 p.m., News 8 will re-air President-elect Barack Obama's Inaugural Address.
