Rain Chances to Start the Workweek
There were some spotty showers in the area today (radar loop), but most of us will be rain-free this evening and through the overnight.
The upper-level low over northern Mexico continues to hold its position, therefore the forecast will continue to call for showers and storms Monday and Tuesday with the best chances in the southern parts of the viewing area.
Temperatures overnight will fall into the low 70s to near 70 degrees. Skies will be mostly cloudy early Monday with the rain threat primarily being in the afternoon. Most highs will be in the low 90s.
For now, it appears that our best rain chance of the week will be on Tuesday, slight chances continue Wednesday and Thursday with a drier period setting up for next weekend... click the 8-day forecast for details.
