The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a new seasonal flu vaccine for people 18-years-old and older.
The FDA announced the approval of the new Agriflu vaccine yesterday on their website. It's designed to prevent flu subtypes A and B.
According to the FDA, Agriflu is administered as a single injection in the upper arm. It is also available in single dose, pre-filled syringes that do not contain preservatives.
According to the FDA, people with some allergies, including those allergic to eggs, shouldn't get the vaccine.
