Members of the Taylor Police Department responded to a suspicious circumstances call on Old Thorndale Road early Saturday morning to discover a woman dead and a man injured.

Police found 40-year-old Rachel Ramirez dead from a gunshot wound and 43-year-old Juan Jose Estrada injured from an apparent fight.

Estrada complained of chest pains and was treated at a hospital.

He was then charged with murder, and is being held in the Williamson County Jail. No bond has been set.
