Sarah Palin will stop at Fort Hood during her book tour.

An updated schedule shows Palin will visit the Texas post on Friday, Dec. 4.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and former Alaska governor started her tour this week to promote her new book.

Palin said she is looking forward to meeting the brave men and women in uniform at Fort Hood.

She said she will donate royalties from book sales during the stop to the victims of the shooting rampage and their families.
