The Central Texas community is rallying in support of those who died in the mass shooting at Fort Hood Thursday.

• Monday, A local grassroots organization is asking everyone to drive with their headlights on to honor those directly or indirectly affected.
• NASCAR will honor the fallen soldiers at Fort Hood this weekend. Those with the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth are planning to paint a logo on the infield grass to honor the victims.
Fundraiser and Donation Information
• The Central Texas-Fort Hood Chapter of Association of the United States Army has set up a Community Response to 11/5 Fund for anyone wishing to make monetary donations to help support the families of the victims involved in Thursday's shooting at Fort Hood.

• Barton Creek Square and Killeen Mall will support the victims of the recent tragedies at Ft. Hood by hosting a fundraiser at Kay's Hallmark. Both Hallmark locations will sell wooden roses for $1. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the families of the victims of Ft. Hood.

Presidential Visits
•Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, visited wounded soldiers and their families from Fort Hood. The Bushes made a private visit to Darnall Army Medical Center on base Friday night.
•According to the White House, President Barack Obama and his wife Michele will be attending a memorial service in Fort Hood Tuesday.
