Students from various school districts around Central Texas were at the J.J. Pickle Research Center Friday for the 2009 Earth Science Career Day.
The career day is part of Earth Science Week for Central Texas students.

The students got the chance to learn from professions already working in fields that use science every day.
"We have been learning about gravity, all sorts of weather, tornados, hail storms, wind pressure and learning how to use certain wind tools," Dripping Springs Middle School student TJ Kenzorra said.
