A pair of brothers from the Waco area died in a car crash Sunday night.

The Waco Police Department said Lawrence Torres failed to yield at the intersection of North 27th Street and West Waco Drive when he was struck by an eastbound pickup truck.

Lawrence Torres died in the crash. His brother, Jerry Torres of Bellmead, died as he was being taken to a hospital.

An autopsy will be performed on both bodies.

The driver who struck their truck was taken to the hospital with ''incapacitating injuries.''
