Stars from both sides of the camera accepted big honors at the Austin Film Festival.
Actor Michael Keaton and film maker Ron Howard headlined the awards show Saturday afternoon.
Keaton presented Howard with the festival's Extraordinary Contribution to Filmmaking award.
"Arrested Development" scribe Mitchell Hurwitz accepted the Outstanding Television Writer award.
Academy Award winner Steven Zaillian was honored as the festival's Distinguished Screenwriter.
Howard is also hosting a special retrospective screening of "Apollo 13" Saturday night at Paramount Theater.
The Austin Film Fest continues through next Thursday.
