Condemned Texas inmate, Rodney Reed, has lost another appeal.
Reed was given the death penalty for the murder of Bastrop County resident, Stacy Stites.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals rejected arguments by Reed's defense, that new evidence points to Stite's former fiancé, Jimmy Fennell.
Fennell is a former police officer, sent to prison earlier this year for having improper sexual activity with a woman he had arrested.
The court says the information submitted by Reed fails to show innocence and fails to show that prosecutors withheld it.
This was Reed's sixth appeal to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.
In December, the court denied him a new trial as well.
Reed still has an appeal pending in Federal Court.
