If you're planning on casting your ballot on Election Day, be sure to bring some patience. Tens of thousands of Central Texans are expected to hit the polls Tuesday. Voting runs from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
To find out where you need to go to vote, look on the front of your registration certificate and the precinct number is printed on it. If you do not know your voter registration or precinct number, check with your county clerk or see if the information is available online. At the top of our elections resources page are links and some phone numbers.
Travis County offers online status verification through the voter registrar's office. You can also call (512) 854-9473. (Click here for a list of Election Day voting locations).
Each voter's specific precinct ballot will include eligible contests from both local elections and the general election. See the sample ballots below for Travis County.
