Austin police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect connected to the homicide of Deysi Hernandez on Wednesday.
Hernandez was found inside of her vehicle at the Summer Wind Condominiums located at 833 Fairfield. She had suffered trauma to her body.
Detectives learned that Rodolfo Villela Tovar, also known as Rolando Salas Arrendondo, 25, was seen with Hernandez a short time before she was murdered. A warrant for murder has been issued for Tovar and bond has been pre-set at $500,000.
In the course of their investigation, APD Homicide Unit detectives developed information that a White pick-up, possibly a Toyota, was seen leaving the area about the time the victim was discovered.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information regarding this case.
This is the 8th murder in Austin this year.
