Autopsy results for a Williamson County man shot and killed by Round Rock police officers have been ordered sealed.
The Round Rock police officers involved in the shooting of 22-year old Bobby Lee Williams have been identified as Sgt. Andy McKinney, and Officers Craig Cargill and Sandra Wright.
Round Rock police officers shot and killed Williams following a scuffle Tuesday night at his home on Ameswood Drive at about 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Family members say Williams lived at the house with his parents.
Round Rock Police Sgt. Andy McKinney, who was first on the scene, was wounded when Williams struggled with him.
He has been on the force almost six years, and was one of the three officers who fired at Williams. The others include Officers Craig Cargill and Sandra Wright.
According to Round Rock police policy, officers are authorized to use deadly force to protect themselves or others from what is reasonably believed to be an immediate threat of death or serious bodily harm.
Police would not comment on whether that policy was upheld Tuesday. They said an investigation will take place to determine whether Williams was reasonably believed to be an immediate threat to warrant the police officers' response.
In the front yard, where Williams was killed, the Williams' family held a small memorial Thursday.
