Thousands of runners dashed down Congress Avenue this morning.
More than 16,000 runners, walkers and exhibitionists participated in the 31st Annual Statesman Capitol 10K.
Sunday's racers got more than a good workout, they helped benefit a good cause.
The money raised benefits the University Medical Center at Brackenridge.
