Hundreds of dedicated parents braved the chilly drizzle Friday morning in hopes of scoring coveted Hannah Montana wristbands.
The crowd wrapped around the Frank Erwin Center armed with umbrellas and high hopes.
Tickets for the January concert don't go on sale until Saturday at 10 a.m., but with a wristband, fans are guaranteed a spot in line to try and buy tickets. Even with the wristband, there's no guarantee they'll be able to buy a ticket.
Once tickets go on sale tomorrow, only four tickets will be sold to each person to prevent scalping. The Frank Erwin Center also won't let people camp outside for tickets, which run from $26 - $66.
The "Best of Both Worlds" tour brings Miley Cyrus to Austin on Jan. 24.
Cyrus, the 15-year-old singer/songwriter/actress, will perform as a double bill appearing as her Disney Channel character, Hannah Montana, and as herself singing material from her first solo album, "Meet Miley Cyrus.
