By looking at the Austin Music Hall from the outside it's hard to believe it'll be complete by Monday.
"We will stay here and do what we got to do to get it completed," Austin Music Hall owner Tim O'Connor said.
It's only been six months since the original hall came crashing down.
"I never thought I would get this opportunity to start from scratch," O'Connor said.
O'Connor and roughly 100 workers will be working around the clock until doors open on Monday.
"The things that won't be accomplished will be some of the finer points such as outside planter boxes," O'Connor said.
But O'Connor says everything else will be ready to go. The new hall will fit 4,400 music fans. It will be three stories, with a private, members only club up top.
So far only one big name performer has backed out of her scheduled performance at the Austin Music Hall. Tori Amos was scheduled to perform on Monday but, her management, didn't think the Music Hall would be ready on time. They cancelled her performance and moved it to San Antonio.
"If I was in their position and I had a client like Tori, that's important and a great artist, I might have done the same thing," O'Connor said.
But O'Connor doesn't dwell in the past. To him it's all about the future, a future that will include a few long days and some even longer nights, but on Monday when the sound of construction is replaced with the sound of music, it'll all be worth it.
