East Sixth Street between Pedernales and Robert Martinez is open again following a train accident on Thursday.
A train derailed, jackknifed and hit the engine of another train, which caused a diesel leak.
Nobody was injured, but a small area around the accident was evacuated. Hazardous material teams were called in to contain the leak. The soil where fuel spilled will likely have to be replaced.
