An Austin fugitive who had escaped police by jumping out of a second floor window Tuesday didn't have the same luck Wednesday.

The Corpus Christi Caller Times reports police dogs tracked down 25-year-old Austin Richard Morales in a field near Victoria.

This followed a car chase that ended with Morales getting a flat tire and taking off on foot.

He was wanted for probation violation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felony larceny and burglary charges. Morales also has warrants in Bastrop and Williamson counties.
