Fort Hood mourns, death toll 13
Officials confirmed Friday, the death toll has risen to 13, one civilian and 12 soldiers. Authorities said Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire on a crowd at the Soldier Readiness Preparation Center on post. Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple still has 10 patients under their care, six in ICU and four on the "in-patient" floor.

A single shooter fired shots into the Soldiers Readiness Processing Center and Howze Theater on Fort Hood Thursday, killing 12 and wounding 31. The suspect that was thought to be dead has been confirmed not to be dead. He has been identified as Major Nidal Malik Hasan.
