Smithville is probably the only place in Texas where you can see King Arthur marry Guinevere and watch a sword fight in the same day.
The fourth annual Excalibur Fantasy Faire is taking place in the town about 40 miles east of Austin. Organizers said the fair is a cross between a historical reenactment and performance art with
musicians, jugglers and magicians providing the entertainment.

"We try to give people a feel for it, and one of our sayings out here is always that theater wins out over history, so we try to make it more enjoyable," said Marty Livingston of the Excalibur Fantasy Faire.
The fair runs each weekend until March 31.
