Alaniz Goes Pro
Adrian Alaniz signed with the Washington Nationals.

Junior right hander Adrian Alaniz has decided to go pro. Alaniz was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 8th round of last week's draft.
He went 12-3 for the Longhorns this season with a 2.59 ERA. Alaniz will report to the Nationals Class A Affiliate in Vermont.
There is still no word from sophomores Kyle Russell, Bradley Suttle and Preston Clark on if they will return to UT.
Three seniors have signed as well. Chance Wheeless with the
Diamondbacks and Nick Peoples with the Cardinals, while shortstop Chais Fuller has inked a free agent deal with the
Braves.
