Brees Powers Saints Past Colts
 The Saints picked up their first Super Bowl victory in the 42 year history of the franchise and Austin's Drew Brees was the MVP.

In a city that has overcome so much since Hurricane Katrina the
Saints signaled a rebirth of the Crescent City.
Westlake's Drew Brees was quoted as saying most people left not knowing if New Orleans would ever come back or if the organization would ever come back. Brees added we are going to rebuild together and lean on each other.
Fittingly the Saints had to overcome a ten point deficit, the
largest in Super Bowl history to beat Indianapolis 31-17.
The Saints only managed 51 yards on the ground, the fewest of any Super Bowl winner.
Brees tied a Super Bowl record for completions and was voted the game's MVP after guiding the Saints to their first championship in their 42 year history.
The Saints had only won two postseason games ever prior to this year when they won three including the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl was the most watched television program in U.S. history.
The Super Bowl was watched by more than 106 million people,
surpassing the 1983 finale of ``M.A.S.H.''.
98.7 million watched Pittsburgh beat Arizona last year in the Super Bowl.
A lot of fans pulled for the Saints who's city of New Orleans
had to overcome Hurricane Katrina. This was the scene on Bourbon Street following the game.
Hoarse, Happy and Hungover fans were there to greet the Saints as they arrived at the Airport in the New Orleans.
Almost a million people are expected for Tuesday's victory
parade which starts at five in the afternoon.
