When it counted, Colt McCoy was right on target. He had 304 yards passing, and 175 yards rushing. He made a statement. One that his teammates think should win him the Heisman.

"Why Not? Why not give it to him? That's all we can ask for as a team, and Colt's a great player. He led us to victory," said linebacker Roddrick Muckelroy.
"I would have voted Vince (Young) in, and I would have voted Colt last year, but I didn't get to vote, so I'm not going there. Everybody that likes college football was watching tonight. If
anybody has a bigger Heisman moment than that, I'd like to see it," said Longhorns head coach Mack Brown.
This rivalry has a history of big moments and big time players. There was no doubt on either sideline how big Colt McCoy's performance was or how big Marquise Goodwin's 95 yard
kick-off return for a touchdown was that sealed the win.
"I was like Whoo! I appreciate it! He stepped up," laughed Muckelroy.
"He's been like that all year. He's got ice in his veins," said receiver James Kirkendoll.
"I looked up to the sky, and I was like God please help us on this kick return. We hadn't been doing well at all. Everybody picked up that block, and did what we needed to do. That's
how it happened," said Goodwin of his own touchdown which gave the Horns the 49-39 win.
And that's how the Horns are one step closer to the National Championship.
