MILWAUKEE - Johnny Estrada launched a grand slam while the
Milwaukee Brewers were erupting for nine runs in the sixth inning
of an 11-5 victory over Houston.
The Astros carried a 4-2 lead into the sixth before the Brewers scored three runs on right fielder Luke Scott's error. Tony
Graffanino followed with his fourth career pinch-hit homer before Estrada hit his first career grand slam.
Carlos Lee's two run homer snapped a two all tie in the top of
the sixth before the Brewers improved to 11-2 since they were
no hit by Detroit's Justin Verlander.
Astros second baseman Craig Biggio went 1 for 4 to move within
three hits over becoming the 27th player with three thousand. Matt Wise worked a hitless sixth to get to 2-1.
Wandy Rodriguez is 4-7 after allowing six runs and seven hits in five plus innings.
