With so many runners using the hike-and-bike trail
You might be hard pressed to find something more annoying than jogging down the trail and landing in a giant pile of pet waste.
So one could imagine the importance of etiquette if you're on the trail. Susan Rankin of the Town Lake Trail Foundation said it just comes down to being courteous.
"So many of the trail etiquette things are just common courtesy things," she said.

If you go online you can find the list of suggestions that the foundation wants you to take heed of when using the trail.
Some examples of the rules include, where to put keys if you come across someone's keys, pick up litter and cleaning after your dog.
Rankin said they are introducing five trail head signage maps that provide runners and bikers with specific loop distances including the etiquette rules.
It's all about common courtesy.
