Men and with women with physical injuries, including Afghanistan and Iraq veterans, trained for the Paralympics games in Austin Friday.
The Texas Rowing Center is holding the rowing camp all weekend long. The camp is a precursor to the selection of the U.S. National Paralympics team that will compete in London in 2012.

The Paralympics team hopefuls got the chance to train with the U.S. team coach and row with current team athletes.
Kara Roth is attending the camp to stay active.
"We're kinda showing them that they can still come out and do rowing, and we're showing them that there is still a lot of activities, maybe even the same activities they did, and just kinda come out, and get out there and give it a try." Roth said.
This is the first training camp is at the Texas Rowing Center. It was made possible with a $17,000 grant through the U.S. Olympic Center.
