It was an absolutely gorgeous day to enjoy free music at Auditorium Shores for South by Southwest.
Earlier in the day, dozens of families enjoyed sounds of Christian Scott and Rachel Trachtenberg.
Parents said they only wish there were more family oriented musical events around Austin all the time and not just SXSW.
"There's not too many things you can do for kids that are music oriented, especially at Auditorium Shores," Josh Stope said.

The family friendly portion of the event came to a close at about 6 p.m.
Rapper Ice Cube will be headlining the event with a performance at 8 p.m.
