Austin is making room for thousands of bikers. The Republic of Texas Rally, the biggest motorcycle rally in the state, is this weekend.

Events began Thursday and many bikers headed straight to Sixth Street to soak in the sights.

On Friday night bikers will roar down Congress Avenue for a parade.

You can also check out live music, including Cowboy Mouth and George "Bad to the Bone" Thorogood Saturday night.

There's a monster truck show as well.

The Republic of Texas Rally has more than 250 vendors and many more events.
