CONTEST RULES:
1. The person whose name is drawn as being the winner of the specific prize will be required to pickup the prize at the News 8 Austin studios (at 1708 Colorado in Downtown, Austin) during regular business hours within thirty (30) business days. Please bring photo identification for winner verification. Winner forfeits right to prize after thirty (30) business days.
2. The contest is open to the general public as well as anyone currently subscribing to Time Warner Cable. Employees of News 8 Austin and Time Warner Cable, its advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.
3. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
4. Decisions of the contest judges are final. No substitutions will be available.
5. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, television broadcasts, newspapers and other publications, and in television releases, videotape, distribution over the internet and other digital video storage) which News 8 or Time Warner Cable may deem appropriate.
6. In accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that News 8 Austin and Time Warner Cable, its sponsors, nor employees of News 8 Austin and Time Warner Cable or sponsors may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any prize once possession has been taken by winner. News 8 is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest.
7. News 8 Austin retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

Hi-Def Weather News 8's Non-Stop Weather HD is now available on Time Warner Cable Digital HD channel 1507. This service features a new high definition 16:9 layout of our popular 24-hour local weather channel. For our Austin area standard definition (SD) digital viewers, the HD service is also converted down to SD and made available on digital cable channel 358 replacing the old 4:3 formatted service. News 8's Non-Stop Weather HD is also available in Killeen, Temple and Waco on Time Warner Cable Digital HD channel 1010.
