Lone Star Emmy Award for News 8 promotions

News 8 earned a Lone Star Emmy for the AMOA's Warhol Exhibit PSA.



News 8 Austin's promotions manager, Barry DeCrane, and promotions editor, Mike Harvey, won the Lone Star Emmy Award for Best Public Service Announcement for 2004.

The winning PSA promoted the Austin Museum of Art's Warhol Exhibition.

The National Television Academy's Lone Star Chapter serves all 19 television markets in Texas.
