With students from over 40 countries, 20 languages, and including families from all walks of life, it can boldly claim, “We educate the world!”
Next week Mathews Elementary is hosting this year**s Family Science Night.
Everyone in Austin is invited for an evening of fun on November 5, 2009. Each grade level will showcase science experiments set up for you to enjoy. Several outside vendors are scheduled to come and share their knowledge with kids of all ages, among them Austin Energy, LASA Robotics Team, 4H Wildlife Exhibit, Girlstart, TreeFolks, REI, City of Austin Water Conservation Program, Ecology Action of Texas, UTeach Natural Sciences, and Texas Farm Bureau. The Fun begins at 6:15PM at our campus located on West Lynn and 9th.

The City of Austin plans to have the Nueces Bike Boulevard opened by late spring. The boulevard would be a multi-use path where car traffic is discouraged. How do you feel about this?
