View event Web site DESCRIPTION: Join Dr. Loriene Roy, an Anishinabe (Ojibwe) enrolled on the White Earth Reservation, a member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe, and a Professor of Library and Information Science at University of Texas at Austin, on November 4 as she discusses her fight against illiteracy within the Native American community through the "If I Can Read, I Can Do Anything" program, a national reading club for American Indian youths.

The City of Austin plans to have the Nueces Bike Boulevard opened by late spring. The boulevard would be a multi-use path where car traffic is discouraged. How do you feel about this?
